Nice job and thanks for sharing! Is he not the sexiest animated cat ever? I'll give him a go after a few valentine gifts I have on my list ;-) For the hat, I think you'll want to make one with a short 'bowl' and large brim so you can pull up one side of the brim and attach long ostrich feathers. The following links are for adult hats in thread, but they might help you with inspiration:

Thanks! Those were actually really helpful; the biggest problem I was having was with the brim. It's almost done now, I'll post the pattern up soon.
DeleteHe looks awesome, definitely marking this to try later. I have always loved Puss 'n Boots since I was a kid and was very happy with Antonio Banderas' rendition.
ReplyDeleteThank you.
Deleteanyone know where i can locate a humpty dumpty pattern (crochet) from the movie ?
ReplyDeleteI don't know about the movie version specifically, but there are a few patterns on Ravelry. There might be one that has pants; you could just modify the features.
DeleteHow long until you post the hat instructions?
ReplyDeleteOops, sorry about that. I'll try to put them soon; I got a little side-tracked and forgot to post it. I have it written down somewhere, I just have to find it. It's still not perfect, but it's the best I can do.
ReplyDeleteFound a hat pattern that could help you polish your design. Check out
