Mouth and arms (Make 6 pieces)
Ch 2
Rnd 1: 4 sc in 2nd ch from hook
Rnd 2-3: sc in each sc around
Fasten off.
Sew in 3 pairs, then sew to body as shown.
Feather
With yellow, ch 2
Row 1: sc in 2nd ch from hook (1 sc)
Row 2: 2 sc in each sc across (2 sc)
Row 3: 2 sc in each sc across (4 sc)
Row 4-11: sc in each sc across
Row 12: sc dec across (2 sc)
Row 13: sc dec across (1 sc)
Row 14: sc in remaining sc
Fasten off.
Sew to head on a slant. Stick one end of pipe cleaner in the body, bend to fit the shape of the feather and then stick the other end into the body, trimming if necessary. Tie a bit of yarn at the top to hold in place, then with a longer length of yarn, whipstitch around, tying the pipe cleaner to the feather, so that it doesn't show (you can probably also crochet around it too, but I was feeling lazy and I liked how it came out this way anyway).

Row 5: sc dec (1 sc)
Row 6: sc (1 sc)
