Agumon

Here's a Rookie Digimon for you. As always, questions and corrections are welcome.

AGUMON



Head











Round 1: Ch 2, 6 sc in 2nd chain from hook
Round 2: 2sc in each sc around (12 sc)
Round 3: Sc, 2 sc in next sc, repeat around (18 sc)
Round 4: Sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc, repeat around (24 sc)
Round 5: Sc in next 3 sc, 2 sc in next sc, repeat around (30 sc)
Round 6: Sc in next 4 sc, 2 sc in next sc, repeat around (36 sc)
Round 7: Sc in next 5 sc, 2 sc in next sc, repeat around (42 sc)
Round 8-10: Sc in each sc around
Round 11: Sc in next 5 sc, sc dec in next 2 st, repeat around (36 sc)
Round 12: Sc in next 4 sc, sc dec in next 2 st, repeat around (30 sc)
Round 13: Sc in next 3 sc, sc dec in next 2 st, repeat around (24 sc)
Begin stuffing at this point if you haven’t already. Stuff firmly, but so that one side is almost flat. This will shape the muzzle
Round 14-23: Sc in each st around
Round 24: Sc in next 2 sc, sc dec in next 2 st, repeat around (18 sc)
Round 25: Sc in next sc, sc dec in next 2 st, repeat around (12 sc)
Round 26: Sc in next sc, sc dec in next 2 st, repeat around (9 sc)
Round 27: Sc in next sc, sc dec in next 2 st, repeat around (6 sc)
Finish stuffing and shaping
Round 28: Folding in half, sl st both sides together.
Fasten off and sew the portion sticking out to the muzzle so that it’s flat
Weave in ends.


Body












Ch 2
Round 1; 6 sc in 2nd chain from hook (6 sc)
Round 2: 2 sc in each sc around (12 sc)
Round 3: sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc, repeat around (18 sc)
Round 4: Sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc, repeat around (24 sc)
Round 5: Sc in next 3 sc, 2 sc in next sc, repeat around (30 sc)
Round 6: Sc in next 4 sc, 2 sc in next sc, repeat around (36 sc)
Round 7: Sc in next 5 sc, 2 sc in next sc, repeat around (42 sc)
Round 8: Sc in next 6 sc, 2 sc in next sc, repeat around (48 sc)
Round 9: Sc in next 7 sc, 2 sc in next sc, repeat around (54 sc)
Round 10-13: Sc around
Round 14: Sc in next 7 sc, sc dec in next 2 sc, repeat around (48 sc)
Round 15: Sc in next 6 sc, sc dec in next 2 sc, repeat around (42 sc)
Round 16: Sc in next 5 sc, sc dec in next 2 sc, repeat around (36 sc)
Round 17: Sc in next 4 sc, sc dec in next 2 sc, repeat around (30 sc)
Round 18: Sc in front loops of next 7 sc, then in back loop of next sc, then in front loops of next 7 sc, sc in both loops for remaining 15 sc .
Begin stuffing
Round 19: Sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in each of next 2 sc, sc in back loop of next sc, through both loops of next sc and in back loop of next sc, 2 sc in each of next 2 sc, sc around (34 sc)
Round 20: Sc in next 5 sc, sc dec in next 3 sc, sc around (32 sc)
Round 21: Sc in next 3 sc, sc dec in next 3 sc, sc around (30 sc)
Round 22: Sc in next 3 sc, sc dec in next 2 sc, repeat around (24 sc)
Round 23-4: Repeat round 22 (15 sc)
Fasten Off.
Form muscles by weaving yarn in the front loop only stitches of round 18 and the back loop only stitches of 18 and 19, pulling the yarn taught in those stitches to make a slight indent. Weave in remaining ends.

Hands and Arms


Hand
Row 1: Ch 21, sc in 2nd chain from hook and each remaining ch (20 sc)
Row 2-6: Sc in each sc across
Round 7: Fold in half, sl st in last sc, sc around (20 sc)
Round 8: Sc dec in first 2 sc, sc in next 5 sc, sc dec in next 2 sc, sc in remaining sc (18 sc)
Round 9: Sc dec in first 2 sc, sc in next 3 sc, sc dec in next 2 sc, sc in remaining sc (16 sc)
Round 10: Sc in first sc, sc dec in next 2 sc, sc in next 6 sc, sc dec in next 2 sc, sc in remaining sc (14 sc)
Round 11: sc in first sc, sc dec in next 2 sc, sc in next 5 sc, sc dec in next 2 sc, sc in remaining sc (12 sc)
Round 12: sc in first sc, sc dec in next 2 sc, sc in next 4 sc, sc dec in next 2 sc, sc in remaining sc (10 sc)Round 13-16: sc in each sc around
Fasten off.
Form fingers: Turn inside out and sew side seam. Turn back the right way and stuff. Sew 2 lines for finger indentations, fixing the stuffing so that the fingers are noticeable. Sew first and last finger closed, leaving the 3rd open. That will be the base for the claw.
Middle Claw
Round 1: In middle finger, attach white. Sc around finger (about 7 sc)
Round 2-4: Sc around
Row 5: Flatten round, sc through both thicknesses (3 or 4 sc)
Row 6: Sc all stitches together (1 sc)Fasten off.

Side Claw (Make 2)
Row 1: Attach white, working through both thicknesses of finger, sc across (about 2 sc)
Row 2-3: Sc across
Row 4: Sc dec across (1 sc)Fasten off.
Weave in ends.

Upper Arm
Round 1: Ch 8, join together with sl st, sc around (8 sc)
Round 2-3: Sc around (8 sc)
Fasten off, leaving a tail for sewing.
Sew to hand in back loops only so that it forms a joint. Stuff lightly and sew to body.



Legs and Feet (Make 2)




Foot
Round 1: Ch 2, 5 sc in 2nd sc from hook (5 sc)
Round 2: 2 sc in each sc around (10 sc)
Round 3: sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc, repeat around (15 sc)
Round 4: sc in next 10 sc, ch 5, join (10 sc and 5 ch st), leaving remaing st unworked
Round 5: sc in each sc and ch st around (15 sc)
Round 6: sc in each sc around (15 sc)
Round 7: sc in next 5 sc, 2 sc in next 2 sc, sc around until last 3 sc, 2 sc in each of remaining sc (20 sc)
Round 8-15: sc around
Fasten off.


Leg
Round 4: On the opposite side of unworked round, join yarn, sc in each sc across and in other side of chain loops (15 sc)
Round 5-6: Sc in each sc around
Round 7: In front loops only for first 10 sc, in both loops for last 5, sc around
Round 8: Sc in next 5 sc, 2 sc in next 3 sc, sc around (18 sc) (Forms knee)
Round 9: Sc in each sc around
Round 10: Sc in next 5 sc, sc dec in next 2 sc, repeat 2x, sc around (15 sc)
Round 11: Sc in next 3 sc, sc dec in next 2 sc, repeat around (12 sc)
Round 12: Sc in each sc around
Fasten off, leaving a tail for sewing.
Shaping
Sew two lines evenly spaced to form individual toes. Stuff firmly.
Nails

Side nails (Make 2)
Join w/white
Round 1: Sc around first claw (6 sc)Round 2-4: Sc around
Row 5: Sc through both thicknesses (3 sc)Row 6: Sc dec in all 3 sc (1 sc)
Fasten off.

Middle nail
Join w/white
Round 1: Sc around middle claw (8 sc)Round 2-5: Sc around
Row 6: Sc through both thicknesses (4 sc)Row 7: Sc dec in first 2 sc, repeat across (2 sc)Row 8: Sc dec (1 sc)Fasten off.

Tail


Round 1: Ch 2, 3 sc in 2nd chain from hook (3 sc)
Round 2: Sc in first 2 sc, 2 sc in 3rd sc (4 sc)
Round 3: 2 sc in each sc around (8 sc)
Round 4: Sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc around (12 sc)
Round 5: Sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc around (16 sc)
Round 6: Sc in next 3 sc, 2 sc in next sc around (20 sc)
Round 7: Sc in next 4 sc, 2 sc in next sc around (24 sc)
Round 8: Sc in next 5 sc, 2 sc in next sc around (28 sc)
Round 9: Sc in next 6 sc, 2 sc in next sc around (32 sc)
Round 10: Sc in next 7 sc, 2 sc in next sc around (36 sc)
Round 11: Sc in each sc around
Fasten off and stuff.
Sew tail between rounds 4 and 16 of body .

Finishing
Make eyes as shown--I used stick on felt, but glue also works.
You can also embroider a mouth, but I’m not very good at embroidery and he looked cuter without it.

    IS IT TRUE!? CAN I REALLY HAVE MY OWN AGUMON!?!?!
    You can't see it but I'm bowing to you, owner of this blog. I'm so thankful, there is now a shrine of you in my closet :D lol

    I have no idea what the "sc" means, as I don't crochet but I WILL DEFINITELY LEARN!

  5. You're welcome "Sc" means single crochet and it's the most basic crochet stitch that you'll probably use most. Just something to get you started, lol.
